The Chinese lion, commonly known in the Western Hemisphere as the “Foo Dog,” is an animal known for its great luck and noble personality.  The mythical creature guards houses and doorways, simultaneously appearing fierce and peaceful.  From the imagination of LIULI Crystal Art studios is a strong Foo Dog sculpture with elaborate yet minimalistic flames dancing around it.  The art piece combines excellent mastery in color blending and sculpture making.

Foo Dog or Fu Dog traditionally known in Chinese simply called shi (獅), meaning "lion", or shishi, meaning "stone lion". This figurine often called Fu Dog (or "Foo Dogs") in the West - though you may also see them referred to as Chinese guardian lions, imperial guardian lion or stone temple dogs. As the name implied, Foo dogs are known to be protects the owner of the house and bring fortune or wealth.
