LIULI studio artists attest that this Kingfisher from the “Believe and You shall See” collection is arguably one of the most difficult pieces to craft. At over 200 hours spent on design with only a 5% success rate, it is one of the studio’s most prized collections. Each feather requires painstaking effort to color, using the indescribably detailed powdered crystal. The resulting vibrancy and intricacy are second only to the feeling it evokes. Artists pay respect to LIULI’s roots in Taiwan through this species of bird endemic to the island. It is not difficult to see that an artist can only do justice to such a natural beauty through sacrificing months on the perfection of its image. |
