Design Concept

Pressed against the cool surface of rough glasswork, two fish dance in an arabesque with tails billowing behind them. Deep down below, a negative relief in the crystal plays with light and feigns a shadow. Symbolizing togetherness through all of life’s ups and downs, this art piece shows the value of union that comes from standing apart, but swimming together. Using dynamic movement in a seemingly simple subject, LIULI craftsmen captured the spirit of the passion of two—immortalized.
