Design Concept

Like a mini shanshui painting caught within an orb, this artwork illustrates the melodious song that can be heard when truly breathing in a landscape—however miniature. In “an Idyllic Song,” two sociable frogs sit atop a protected pond against the rough-hewn backdrop of cliffs. The meticulous coalescence of greens and warm yellows flow gently through this pastoral scenery and echo the song and harmonies of the environment. This glasswork and the sentiments captured within are inspired by the nature-themed collection “Perfect Match, You and Me,” reflecting the tranquility found within small pockets of nature in all of its vastness.
