Design Concept:

From a land cracked and thirsting, the peony rises—undaunted, unbound. In this artwork, a single bloom bursts from a jagged fault, its vibrant hues like a dance of flame against stone. One side echoes the scorched earth, parched and fractured; the other gleams with polished light, reflecting resilience through every sharp angle. The base lies in quiet clarity, a pool of stillness beneath the storm. Around it, ridges rise like mountain bones—raw, weathered, eternal. The peony, tempered by cold and drought, blooms not in ease but in defiance. It is nature’s quiet rebellion, beauty born of struggle, and the fierce will of life that insists on blossoming—no matter the soil.
