Design Concept:

The Rite of Spring rests within the perfect roundness of a crystal glass sphere, a quiet universe where heaven and earth meet. Bamboo stands with hollow grace and firm joints, a symbol of integrity that does not bend away from its nature. Plum blossoms rise beside it, thriving through snow and frost, carrying the proud beauty of resilience. Together, they speak in two voices: one composed and steadfast, the other vivid and flourishing.

Held within a circular composition inspired by Taiji, the artwork conveys wholeness without beginning or end. Flowing curves guide the movement of energy, while the interplay of emptiness and solidity creates a sense of balance in continual transformation. While its spirit reflects the graceful balance of Tai Chi, where strength and softness, stillness and movement exist in harmony. Strength is softened by gentleness; stillness is awakened by bloom. With fullness above and openness below, the composition breathes with a natural rhythm, like yin and yang turning within light.
