Design Concept:

The lotus symbolizes harmony and purity in Chinese culture, expressing the lotus's inner beauty. A carving of swimming shrimp on the body of the vase represents a carefree aspiration. The characteristic of the Chinese vase, besides its practicality, lies in its aesthetic design. Techniques involve using precise color placement and second firing to capture the beauty of the traditional Chinese water towns, encapsulated within this artwork.

A proud red flower stands out amidst layers of lotus leaves, filling the "lotus pond" with vibrant contrasts that exude the vitality of midsummer. The lotus flowers are positioned at the highest point, with fully open petals revealing clear lotus seeds, presenting a generous charm to viewers. The early summer lotus buds in red, partly opened, exude a subtle and unadorned beauty, inherently perfect.

設計概念說明：

荷花在華人文化裡代表「和合」，此花瓶設計以荷塘爲泉眼，讓荷表述心性，瓶身游蝦為對自在嚮往的象徵。中式花瓶的特色，除了實用性，還有設計觀賞性。技法上需要用脫蠟鑄造法的粉燒定色與二次燒結，紅花與綠荷葉相得益彰，生動地將江南水鄉的美好想像，乘載在一件作品中。

一朵紅花傲然出挑，層層的荷葉撐滿「荷塘」，開合姿態都極富張力，兩者色彩的濃烈對比充滿了盛夏的活力氣息。荷花的位置在最高處，花瓣全面開放的姿態，一顆顆蓮子清晰可見，向觀者呈現一種落落大方的氣韻，以圓雕和陰刻展現由內向外地熱烈生長。作品外形類似內收聚氣的造型，寓意著和美富貴，同時滿足現代家居中的風水需求，聚寶聚氣。
