Design Concept

One of the most prized and limited LIULI glass art collections from the Year of the Horse, “Victory from the Start” demonstrates the absolute finest craftsmanship in the field. The piece, taking months to complete, is consummate in balance, design, flow, color and movement. A fiery and spirited horse is seen thrusting forward here, its movement counter to an upwardly flowing and finely balanced S-shaped ribbon resembling a finish line. Colors meld together, flowing from dark to light and playing with shadow. As with all horses, this one symbolizes freedom, victory and honor. But moreover, it represents the beauty and grace in all of those things. The prefect living room centerpiece and eye-catcher, the lead glass sculpture is alive with movement.
