East West Bank - Year of the Rat
This is the exclusive design for East West Bank in the Year of the Rat.
This design is inspired by the sayings “the rat carries fortune” and “with a rat comes fortune”. The sculpture tells a narrative of two diligent rats working together to gather their wealth. The source of this wealth is a lush money tree. Growing with vigor and profusion, the tree is laden with coins. With a limitless supply, one rat is responsible for carrying the fortune, the other for gathering it. The signature red liuli bead is used in all zodiac series’ and is embedded in an eye-catching location.
The design’s outline resembles a classic fan shape, symmetrical and sturdy. Two little rats work together – one carrying the fortune, the other gathering it. Theirs is a prosperous bounty yielding fortune and wealth. A money tree grows up the back of the piece, its branches reaching far and wide. East West Bank’s logo centers the design. May your wellspring of fortune never abate.
