This is the exclusive design for MGM Resorts in the Year of the Rat.

Design Concept English With smiling eyes, this little rat raises a peanut above its head. This is the joy that comes from a successful harvest. The Chinese name for peanut is “longevity nut”. Symbolizing longevity, it is a hope for eternal abundance. The peanut is round and full of fortune and blessings. A peony motif extends across the little rat’s body, adding vitality and accentuating its joyous stance and attitude. The rat is the first animal in the Chinese zodiac. Let its joyous and generous spirit guide us into the new year.

小鼠快樂地舉起長生果，笑瞇了眼，是收穫後，滿滿的歡喜滿足。作品以花生為設計元素，花生有「長生果」的別稱，意含「長生常生」之意，有恆久的豐收祝願，長生果粒粒飽滿，顆顆豐美，亦是碩果滿豐藏的祝福。而小鼠身上的富貴牡丹圖紋，讓小鼠靈動起來，隨著枝蔓的無限延展，勾勒出小鼠歡喜的姿態與神情。鼠，十二生肖之首，以最喜悅與富足的精神，昂首迎向開春新一年。
