Design Concept:

It is said that the qilin’s appearance brings auspicious energy and indicates the presence of talented persons. The design shows a pair of qilin with heads raised, looking forward with sights set afar. Mouths open, breathing in and out auspicious air, behind their divine forms is geniality. With manes and tails catching wind, the design brings movement and vibrancy to its surroundings. Qiiln is covered with hulu gourd motif. Hulu (hulu) sounds similar to happiness and wealth (fulu) in Mandarin, and symbolizes fortune in one’s profession. The hulu vine grows upward, full of life and strength, a symbol of thriving. With hulu adorning their backs, the qilin carry with them generational happiness and wealth. As a whole, the design conveys an inextinguishable spirit and blessings of a golden age. Qilin typically come in pairs with the male depicted with a raised left hoof and the female depicted with a raised right hoof. This pair can be placed in the entryway, living room and makes a fitting newborn, wedding gift and housewarming gift.

設計概念說明：

麒麟是中國古代神話中的五大靈獸之一。傳說麒麟現身的地方，代表祥瑞之氣，寓示此地有才能傑出的人。作品表現上，一對麒麟昂首向前，目光高遠，張口吐納祥瑞，神威下是滿滿的親和力；鬃毛由卷圓到迎風揚起，尾巴卷翹，為環境注入活躍氛圍，帶來生氣；葫蘆，諧音「福祿」，象徵財富、事業。麒麟身上的圖騰為葫蘆，葫蘆藤不斷攀爬向陽生長，生命力強大，象徵興旺發達，馱來「萬代福祿」。整體共同傳達著生生不息，盛世康寧的美好祝福。麒麟多為成對擺放，抬起左蹄的為公，名麒，抬起右蹄為母，名麟。可擺放玄關、客廳、書房，適合新生兒贈禮、新婚及喬遷鎮宅等。
