Design Concept

The guardian lion, symbolizing wisdom and strength, embodies auspiciousness and prosperity. This hollow sculpture, crafted with exquisite skill, showcases the guardian lions interacting with vibrant ribbons, evoking a dance of welcome to good fortune. With six lions—two adults and four cubs—the design symbolizes harmony and completeness. Depicted with heads held high and tails elegantly raised, the guardian lions exude artistic charm. The gourd-shaped base, reminiscent of the number "8," signifies the lions stepping on "Fu Lu," representing prosperity. The amber-colored embroidered ball at the center symbolizes inclusivity and enduring cultural sentiment. This piece seamlessly blends tradition with contemporary aesthetics, inviting viewers to interact with its rotating axis. In lion dance culture, holding the embroidered ball signifies the turn of fortune. The Fu lion, whether gifted, collected, or displayed, ensures perpetual blessings and auspiciousness.

獅子，智慧與力量的化身，有吉祥、繁榮、生生不息的寓意。立體鏤空雕塑，展現琉璃工房精湛的手工藝之美。主體兩隻獅子以繽紛的彩帶互動，彼此凝視，象徵著獅子舞動迎接吉祥的場景。兩隻太獅和四隻少獅一同玩耍繡球，作品爲兩只太獅，四只少獅，共六只獅子，設計取「六」的吉祥寓意，六六大順、六合圓滿，呈現傳統圖案中「和諧共存，共享榮耀」的理念。在生動的構圖中，透過細膩的雕塑展現獅子昂首挺胸、尾巴飄逸，充滿藝術的魅力。作品畫面是連環鏤空的葫蘆造型，形似數字「8」，象徵著太獅和少獅踩上「福祿」，富貴吉祥，中間轉動的琥珀色繡球，象徵四海的包容，以永續的華人情感點亮作品與觀者的連接。此作品融合了傳統文化與當代琉璃美學，琥珀色繡球居于葫蘆正中，球體下方安裝了轉軸，觀者可以轉動，增加互動性。在舞獅文化裡，拿著繡球的通常爲領路人，球在手中轉動，也寓意著時來運轉，福獅將永遠跟隨，護佑，贈禮或收藏擺設，傳遞歲歲年年吉祥如意之意。
